The revelation that Kratos had managed to travel to Midgard in 2018 God of War was a massive shock as it was assumed that there was nothing left of the world.
Propelled by his insatiable vengeance to slaughter the entire pantheon of Greek gods, Kratos left nothing standing in his wake, culminating in the apparent destruction of all creation at the end of God of War 3. He fought his way through Rhodes, the Labyrinth of Knossos and even ventured deep into Hades, the fields of Elysium and abyssal Tartarus. Kratos has explored every corner of Greece. In God of War: Fallen God published by Dark Horse Comics, a story set between God of War God of War, it's revealed that Kratos actually traveled to yet another land before Midgard: Egypt. It wasn't until the latest entry in the God of War series, 2018's God of War, that Kratos finally left Greece and journeyed to the Norse realm of Midgar. For seven games, Kratos waged war in his homeland of Greece.
The prospect of Kratos traveling to distant lands has always been a tantalizing one. WARNING: The following contains spoilers for God of War: Fallen God #1 by Chris Roberson, Tony Parker, Dan Jackson, John Roshell and Dave Rapoza on sale now
